Sigiriya Literally ROCKS!

Sigiriya otherwise known as the Lion’s rock is an ancient fortress located at the center of Sri Lanka. It is a large rocky projection towering 600 ft above the surrounding jungle plains of Sri Lanka. From a short distance apart this flat-topped rock looks like a dense rectangular steep sided rock up on a green blanket of jungle.
