Athens is the pre-eminent city of Greece and the main arrival destination. No city mixes history and a chaotic energy better than Athens.

Athens is city with stunning archeological sites, colorful neighbors, overcrowding and smog like you’ve never seen it. For many travelers, the general impression is one of a poetic chaos. Roads are packed, taxi drivers are nuts and shops seem to spill off the sidewalks and into the middle of roads. Yet, in the middle of this chaos you’ll find peaceful places such as the Acropolis, even though it is packed with tourists.

You can’t mention Greece without talking about the Greeks impact on civilization. The city is littered with sites of extremely significant significance. This is not the place where you’ll stand in front of an old structure where Sir so and so fought Sir so and so to the death in a duel that established something faintly important. Instead, you’ll stand in front of monuments where civilization took a quantum leap forward.

The Acropolis is the dominant archeological site in Athens. It is one of those rare locations you can visit where the massive number of tourist do not diminish the impact. Towering over Athens, the Acropolis has seen better days until you consider how old it is. The Pantheon and Erechtheion are the two standing structures and both are impressive.

While contemplating the Pantheon, one can’t help but be impressed by the ability of the Greeks to build such a towering, stone structure when much of humanity still considered a hut a luxury. The Erechtheion is amazing because it contains the famous Caryatids, the columns molded into the form of female figures. Standing upon the mount, you’ll have a view of Greece that will reveal the chaos and a sense of the age of the city.

Athens has much to offer beyond the Acropolis. Books have been written on the subject. Large books. I’m not going to try to cover them here, but you should try to get over to the Tower of the Winds, where the Whirling Dervishes got their start.

Walking through Athens is like walking through history. They say time travel is impossible, but Athens seems to suggest otherwise.

Many of the travelers from across the world return to this ultimate city of “sin” because of these sights alone. Most of them are busting with tales of the unexpected and if you get chances to visit the place, I’m sure that you will also create your own tales to tell.

Well, Amsterdam is not just about sex and drugs; it has all the great things that Mother Earth has to offer. The Netherlands has in fact that most amount of great museums per square foot than anywhere else in the world. If you take a tram ride 10 minutes from the heart of the city, you can overwhelm yourself with those narrow streets occupied with nothing else other than the cyclist and a car every now and then. The city is in fact so quite, but interesting.

The greatly planned city of Amsterdam is one of the few cities in the world where the people, the streets and the atmosphere are an attraction in themselves. It is in fact well-known throughout the world as the sole city where marijuana and hashish are sold legally. And, the worldly known Red Light District is just as much an attraction as a favorite hub for young men full of testosterone to go at night.

But as mentioned earlier, there is far much more to the city than drugs and prostitutes or sex. The city has long been considered as the “Venice of the North” because it was built on a cobweb of canals. You can greatly see most of the city from a canal boat, and from there you’ll surely appreciate the unique architecture that Amsterdam has long been proud to offer.

Furthermore, Amsterdam is heaving with a culture. It has a lot of great museums and libraries. Of all the interesting museums in the city of Amsterdam, the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank Museum and Van Gogh Museums are names not to be missed.

When you stroll around in the city of Amsterdam, you’ll surely find a high volume of restaurants. As commonly noted, you can see sandwich boards in front of the many restaurants advertising their daily specials and from a minute walk down the Damrak, the street facing Central Station, there are some neon lights saying “pizza”.

If you delver further into the city, you can find the Damstraat, the street on Dam Square, also peppered with eateries. Further down again towards Leidseplen, the Leidsekruisstraat and Leidsetraat have their good share of restaurants too. It is necessary to note however that the streets mentioned earlier are located in some of the city’s most touristy areas. So, if you wish to steer clear of such commercial centers, you have the chance to visit the Jordaan as some of the city’s coolest restaurants are found there.

In case you prefer to eat out in a restaurant beyond your budget during your tour, there are also some fast food outlets all over Amsterdam where you can get pizzas, chips or kebabs. However, just be careful when asking for mayonnaise on your French fries for they will be completely drowned.

Such things can be felt and experience in the one heck of a ride in the Twilight Zone’s Tower of Terror. You may have heard of it for several times as you may have learned that it’s just the experience of being dropped off inside an elevator.

But the idea of the ride is not just to drop you off and have that certain feeling of Euphoria and at the same time being lost within yourself. But being able to experience what the characters of the story have felt when they were in the same situation you’re at.The Tower of terror is one of the many unique rides that Walt Disney has built. Unique in the sense that it is not like the other rides that you may have gotten yourself into.

This is the kind of ride that will literally drop you down in a faster face that you’ll feel that you’re guts are craving to get out of your mouth.Upon entering the premises of Hollywood hotel you’ll feel that it’s like beckoning you to enter the inside of the hotel. As you go further you’ll hear sounds of nerve wracking screams on the background, sounds that may seem to emanate from the belly of a haunting edifice.
However, before you get to experience your one hell of a ride. There are lots of waiting that needs to be done and the more that you’ll feel eeriness as you continue to hear the screams and moaning on the background.

After the other riders have finally gotten off of the elevator ride, it’ll be your turn then to experience it. It will be certain that you’ll feel something unexplainable, a certain feeling of creepiness and anticipation as to what you’ll be able to experience in such ride.

All of those doubts, uncertainties and questions will be answered simultaneously once you felt like you are being lifted off the ground. As the elevator plunged you into an unknown depth all you’ll be able to do is scream out as loud as you can joining those who are doing the freaking kind of thing. Take note that you’ll not only be plunged once or twice but until your guts will finally scream that what you’re doing is INSANE.

So, once all then plunging and the screaming is done you can pat yourself on the head and bow because you indeed have survived a one hell of a ride that on the Tower of Hotel can make you experience such a hell of a ride.

It is a large rocky projection towering 600 ft above the surrounding jungle plains of Sri Lanka. From a short distance apart this flat-topped rock looks like a dense rectangular steep sided rock up on a green blanket of jungle.
Furthermore, in this huge and towering rock is a Buddhist monastery located on the lesser steep part of the northern and western slope at the rock’s base. Once on top of this humongous and livable rock, tourists will be fascinated to see the sites of several gardens situated right on top of it.
Gardens such as: The Boulder Gardens which is marked by contrast symmetrical and well manipulated lands. Covering the boulder gardens and water gardens with its large natural rocks lying as it fell after it crumbles away from the Sirigaya Rock.
There are several old Buddhist monk cave temples that can be seen on top of this huge rock. Although on top of this boulder garden are the terrace gardens, which are not really gardens but a connection of wide sweeping staircases made out of bricks. This leads to wide terraces where you can look over the open and flat open water garden as well as the jungle below.
In getting into Sirigaya Rock you have to take a couple of busses from Kandy. Or you can simply hire a taxi which will take you two hours travel into the Rock. Furthermore, be sure to have a guide with you as well as you may be well aware of. Getting into the rock is not such an easy task. As there are some villagers who will be willing to be your guide just to be able to earn some money for their family.
Once at the bottom of the Rock, you just can imagine the trail through the boulder garden to be steeper. As you start to climb up there will be frequent marble and brick stairways that you’ll pass through and as you go further you will literally see that the rock is getting bigger and bigger right in front of you. Although the stairways are quite wide for you to walk on, you’ll still find some difficulties in climbing the stairs. Therefore if ever you’d think of doing your travel into Sirigaya Rock, make sure that you got sturdy and strong feet.

Ride with Walt Disney’s Rock N’ Roller Coaster located right at in Orlando Florida. Along with the birth of the many new theme parks came the different forms of rides. Though you may have ridden all those other rides within Orland Florida; nothing can be compared to the new roller coaster ride that Walt Disney World built. Competing with other theme park rides in the city such as the Island of Adventures which has two state of the art rides. Walt Disney found the new to finally build one of their own. Thus, the Rook N’ Roller Coaster Ride was born featuring the all time popular rock band the Aerosmith.

After falling in queue for such a long period of time, considering that there are numerous excited riders in the area as well. You’ll be redirected to a limo ride right away. After taking your waiting for a couple of minutes for your limo, you’ll be in a room full of memorabilia of the Band. A built-in studio as well and songs of the Aerosmith band can be heard playing on the background.

Once it’s your turn to ride the white limo which will bring you to the concert site of the band. This then marks the twisting and turning while you’re inside the limo. You’ll experience that the ride will toss you from 0-60 MPH in just 2.2 seconds. You’ll feel such acceleration as the ride takes you through several banked curves at such a high speed. Expect that it’ll flip you to and fro, up and down and finally you’ll feel your guts out as it turns and drops you without even a clue.

The idea of the ride was taken on the concept that you’re going to attend an Aerosmith live concert and in a limo you’re making your way through LA traffic. Just the ride alone will keep you hanging on your seat as you experience the entire duration of the ride. The best that part that you’ll love about the ride especially if you’re a big fan of the band. Is that while you are hanging to your seat, you’ll be blasted by the music of the Aerosmith all through the entire rides.

Indeed, Rock N’ Roller is one heck of an incredible ride.

Known for the huge Boulder located at its heart, Sirigaya is not just popular for such place. But for its one of a kind place to stay as well which is the kandalama. This is a 5 star eco resort hotel that was designed by Geoffrey Bawa.

The designer is known to have a wide influence when it comes to Sri-Lankan architecture. He built the hotel following the curve of the rocky rock and measures more than half a kilometer in distance. Its roof gardens have been structurally designed to haze the borders between architecture and nature. Its broad and blank hallways and walkways are open on the other side making you admire on the view of a garden or a certain rock feature. It is adorned with modern sculpture of birds as its big batiks and artworks are subdued in colors.

Even just the site of the setting of the sun right at the pool was magical accompanied with a lone flautist playing such a harmonious melody as darkness enveloped the entire place. This is indeed the best place in the area, and one can really be amazed by the accommodation it offers to its guests and visitors.

After an invigorating rest on this 5 star resort hotel; it is now time to ride the hotel’s bright colored balloon that can carry up to six guests only. You can literally see the Sirigaya Rock shrinks into a smaller size as you rise up higher and higher with hotel’s balloon which is included among the services that the hotel offers to its guests.

There are likewise several other things that you can do and see in Sirigaya rock aside from climbing the rock fortress. There are field trips into a local bird watching safari, Elephant and jungle trekking.

Then there’s the Climbinmg the rock fortress and visit into Polonnaruwa’s anciewnt city, Dambulla’s cave temple and a 3 hour safari ride in the Minerva National Park. Just make sure that you bring along some extra cash with you, as you may not know the prices are quite expensive in this part of the continent.

However, you’re expenses will be worth it all since there will never be enough words to express the magnificent beauty that you’ll behold as you continue your trek and tour in this marvelous part of Sri Lanka.

Your travel will indeed be one of your most memorable trip in your travelogues, a trip worth remembering.

To get into this huge city in Croatia you can go there by plane, since the country doesn’t have an International airport. There are however major airports in Zagreb and Belgrade. However due to some traffic problem that always happens in Belgrade your best option would be in Zagreb.

You can also get into Slovanski Brod by train since it travels several times in a day you’ll be sure to catch one any time. It’ll take you 2 ½ to travel by train into this city. If you love sight-seeing while travelling, you can also choose to travel into the city by a bus. There are several busses plying from all directions of the country, it will not be difficult for you to take one into your desired destination. If you prefer to travel alone and know how to drive, you can rent a car as well and have the trip entirely to yourself. However, be sure that you have map or a guide with you.

Another way that you’ll find in getting into the City is through a boat. You’ll be cruising Sava River on your way to the city of Slavonski.

There are lots of interesting places that you can see in the city of Slavonski. Among these places are the two most popular sites that tourist often visits which are The Franciscan Monastery and the Brod Fortress.

Once in the City of Slavonski, there are plenty of things that you can do as well apart from sight-seeing. If you love to dive and dip into waters, you can have a dip at Poloj sand Beach located at the largest river in the area which is the Sava River. Warnings are being given however as its current is strong enough to carry you away into the deepest part of the River. Here you’ll get to enjoy the heat of the sun while occasionally having a swim and enjoying at the same time your favorite drinks in one of the bars.

You can also join in one of their celebrations such as the Motorijada otherwise known as the Motor fest. It is an annual gathering of bikers in the area which takes place during weekends. The said event is known to last for 2 nights during Fridays and Saturdays.

Although you may find the place to have a party most of the time, it is important to note that the City scene becomes vibrant and wild during Saturdays most especially during holidays. This is because of the several students who flocks into the City and gather for a party enjoying their holidays at the same time in the many clubs in the area. Clubs such as the Alfa, Iguana and the Navigator they play modern music and are also known to offer a range of drinks at the lowest price.

After all the happening and the fun filled night you can retire yourself to one of the fancy places that you can find within the city and give your fun filled adventure day a rest.
